Inspiration

I met several members of the society at the ECCKF in Charleston, SC this past April. You all were friendly, gracious, and dedicated to promoting greenland/SOF kayaking. I was unable to spent more time with you that Friday (I had to leave Charleston by midday).

I am interested forming an "anti-society" of greenland paddlers in the Charlotte, NC/Charleston, SC area. I would like to get an idea of what I need to focus on, and how to begin developing a group. I need guidance from folks who have gone thru it: what should I focus on (how often to meet, topics for meetings, trips, etc)?

I am making some progress with educating the general public about traditional kayaking when I am out paddling. One of the gentleman at the ECCKF told me to e-mail him, but I can't remember the e-mail address or his name (arrrg!). I am the little woman who paddled one of the narrowest beamed SOF's Friday morning. I had my own greenland paddle.

I will NOT be able to attend Delmarva (again) because of another commitment. Soooo, please private e-mail me if you can give me advise.
Cheers,
Jane
